How was that done?

How do you transport an ambulance to the scene?

But for the rubberneckers...

traffic would not have been totally disrupted in either direction.

With the extra lanes at far right on both sides for getting onto I-20, it would have been beyond easy to give the wreck 3 full open lanes for dealing with the mess.

But noooooo, in a society that adores ghouls, people simply have to stop and look for the gore and bodies.

It's no wonder it was a 3-car rear-ender. So many of the idiots on the road are so consumed by their cell phone conversations that they can't manage to keep it in the front of their pea-sized brains that they're actually driving a car in heavy stop-and-go traffic.

As horrible as the (nanny)state of New York is, at least they got it right about using a cell phone while driving a vehicle.

Transported

The writer must not have had morning coffee, or maybe he or she had worked all night and was tired.

Must be a pea-brain driver on here

who eschews the inconvenience of holding the calls until it's safe to chit chat.

Waaaaaa.
