Car falls, crushes South Carolina man

LONGS, S.C. — An Horry County man has died after a car fell on him.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler says 41-year-old Russell Reaves of Longs died after the car crushed him. Fowler says Reaves had been working on a vehicle that was supported by a jack lift.

Fowler says Reaves died at Seacoast Medical Center shortly before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
