NATHAN DEAL IS so over; the Board of Regents is a laughingstock. A memo to Dr. Ricardo Azziz: The bigger they think they are, the harder they fall, and I am confident you will.

PROBABLY THE MOST important school in the Richmond County system is the Alternative School at Tubman. So you put a person doing the worst job in the system to be the principal there. Put a well-qualified person at Tubman.

THANK YOU TO THE Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. My son had car problems on his way to college. Three police cars came to help. So many times people say bad things about the police but the good doesn’t get reported. I don’t know their names, but may God bless you and your families. It was a dangerous situation. Thank you.

WHY DOES IT SEEM that people always have something negative to say about someone who is working so hard to keep children together? I like Dr. Frazier. My son goes to Tubman. The structure that he puts up is great. The staffers are great teachers. Back off Dr. Frazier and let the man do his job.

IT SURE WOULD BE nice if North Augusta would put a stop light at Five Notch and Pisgah before a wreck takes place.

IF YOU COME TO MY house to retrieve my guns, you will not want to receive the part of the gun you get. It definitely won’t be the butt.

RANT TO CLEMSON: I asked a friend who is a Clemson University fan why Clemson doesn’t try to get into the SEC. He said they don’t want to play the top teams in the SEC.

ON COLUMBIA COUNTY Transit, the young people take the first seats. They won’t even move for older people or the handicapped. Some people these days have no respect.

WHY IS IT THAT Knology can cut off two stations on you and raise your bill $7? Can you explain that to me?

RAVE TO NORTH Augusta and its leaders. The river development is great. North Augusta’s business district is perpendicular to the riverfront, which does not take up valuable riverfront, while Augusta’s riverfront is nothing but old buildings. That is what hinders the Augusta side. They have stripped all the beauty and put up buildings.

If you are serious about

If you are serious about resisting tyranny you need to read Solsynetzin (spelling) about how the Bolsheviks took over Russia. Organize and develope cells. Have a sleeper (low profile member) who owns what will be your safe house! You will have to be able to lay low there for perhaps months. Have a communications system not dependant on cell phones. If the gubment shows up they may well want you dead to demonstrate the futility of resistance. You may well, at this point, need to warn others so they can get out of dodge or be killed all so. Good luck! We either hang together or get hung separately!

If you are serious about resisting tyranny.......

Get serious...if one is really serious abour "resisting tyranny" one would hardly pretend to resist it by standing in ones living room waiting for the "tyrants" to come calling.

Huff 'n Puff surely doesn't scare many real tyrants....

Columbia Co Transit & Respect

Sadly, respect is on the endangered list of attributes in our "modern" society. If folks don't respect themselves then you can bet they will not respect others. Selfishness rules the day.

My late father told me many years ago that he loved to seek out the older folks and talk with them about the days when they were younger. I remember thinking at the time what is the big deal with that. I have reached that stage in my life where I am also doing this. Even though I have children that are in their teens, I can relate better to folks that are in their 70's & 80's. Times do change but not always for the better. I guess I am what you call a "fuddy-duddy".

Jake, I couldn't agree more.

Jake, I couldn't agree more. When I was a kid , if I got into trouble at school and got whipped, I would also get into trouble at home. Today, kids get into trouble at school and they are a victim of the school and deserve to be compenstated. There was no alternative school when I grew up. You were shamed for getting into trouble etc. now it is celebrated!

Our administration

Had to laugh this morning watching the news. They are going to charge cigarette smokes 5K more for health insurance - all I could think about was all the crack smokers, etc that don't even have insurance - they get to do anything they want and we pay for it.

An to think I was laughed at for making the comparison

The week of the Sandy Hooks Murder by a mentally ill person who murdered his own mother and stole her guns?

I more or less asked the question:
Has the USA seen a rewritten version of Kristallnacht with "Progressive" Gun Control as the new socialist agenda objective?

Within 60 days we have seen ramrodded:
* Administration Decrees,
* Administration brief public meetings using mainly Anti-Gun Supporters,
* Administration refusing to have discussions with a groups that represent 65 million gun owners.
* Known Socialist Democrats announcing the proposed BAN and confiscation of 150 type of legally owned firearms.
* Yesterdays Senate quick adjustment of filibuster rules to prevent any slowdown and thought-out review,
* The sudden and rapid move to adoption of UN Treaty banning firearm sales.
* An the call for the DOD/FBI/ATF/HS to halt ALL gun shows.

Some I don't think as many people are laughing now.

Rant #5

You can bet that if they put a stop light at Five Notch and Pisgah, it won't be long before a wreck takes place. (And then another, and then another, and then another) Drivers around here view running red lights as a sport.

You heard it here first. Sometime in the future, probabbly sooner than later, you will pay for health insurance based on a points system.

If you are physically active; don't smoke, or drink excessively; have excellent indicators for good cardiovascular health, etc, etc, ; you get the very best rate.

If you smoke, are overweight, don't exercise, have high cholesterol and LDL, low HDL; etc.; you pay the highest rate.

Truthfully, I think that is fair. Those whom take care of themselves should not subsidize those who don't.

Punish the legal.

"Truthfully, I think that is fair. Those whom take care of themselves should not subsidize those who don't."

So you will penalize people who use a legal product, and yet you will give crackheads free medical care and send them a SSI disability check. It's a warped world.

Welcome to the warped world of Democrats. Free medical care to everyone except those using legal products. And let's restrict the rights of legal gun owners while doing NOTHING to stop the criminals and nutcases committing the offenses we CLAIM we are trying to stop.

Let's force legal gun owners to become felons in defense of their constitutional rights.....by implementing laws that will do NOTHING to prevent the incidents being used as the excuse to create the laws.

And......

There are studies that followed a BROAD swath of the population says that smokers DO NOT cost any more for medical care than healthy people from birth to death. Smokers get sick and die, usually within 12 weeks of diagnosis and in their 60s. Healthy people hang around another 20 years demanding hips, knees, hearts, kidneys, popping Medicare Part D pills and running to the doctor everytime they get a new pimple on their butt and actually cost the medical system WAY more than smokers.

Health insurance

Hmmmmm
The other side of the story.....For most of my working life I seldom used health insurance bennies...I was healthy & didn't need it....all that time I paid for others....now as we age ....we need health care..if you live long enough you will to....soooo now we are to pay extra for co pays---deductibles--yearly & monthly payouts.....this has happened this year already......drugs are more expensive & all co pays....makes me want to check Canada for drugs...really....
There is 0 fairness in a system ...some drink-drug-smoke & what have you all of their life.....usually these people are on medicaid & most pay very little if any.....it seems the people in the middle (US) are the only ones paying for health care....
So put me down as unhappy with a crappy attitude about it.

Legal immigrants will get healthcare & citizens won't

WASHINGTON — Governors who reject health insurance for the poor under the federal health care overhaul could wind up in a politically awkward position on immigration: A quirk in the law means some U.S. citizens would be forced to go without coverage, while legal immigrants residing in the same state could still get it.

It's an unintended consequence of how last year's Supreme Court decision changed the Medicaid provisions of President Barack Obama's health care law. The overhaul expanded the federal-state program for low-income and disabled people. The Supreme Court made the Medicaid expansion optional for states, which complicated things.

Arizona officials called attention to the problem last week, when Republican Gov. Jan Brewer opted to accept the Medicaid expansion.

Brewer had been a leading opponent of the overhaul, and her decision got widespread attention. State budget documents cited the immigration glitch as one of her reasons.

"If Arizona does not expand, for poor Arizonans below (the federal poverty line), only legal immigrants, but not citizens, would be eligible for subsidies," the documents said.

Washington......President Obama violated the Constitution when he bypassed the Senate to fill vacancies on a labor relations panel, a federal appeals court panel ruled Friday.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said that Obama did not have the power to make three recess appointments last year to the National Labor Relations Board.

Laughing - kind of like this morning - but I can only take so much curry - Wonder how long Barry (the impostor) and Michelle (this is the first time I have been proud of America) are going to punish America for our past - the Brits are on their own cause they're stupid. German soldiers are growing boobs...really hey are

These German soldiers aren't boobs, so why are they growing them?

A new military report published in the German Medical Science journal and obtained by the German Herald finds that dozens of soldiers in the Wachbataillon unit have developed the condition because the drills they perform stimulate male mammary glands.

The director of plastic surgery at the military hospital in Berlin, Professor Bjorn Krapohl, said it's likely the repeated slapping of the soldiers' rifles on the left side of their chests during drills stimulates the glands to produce hormones, which creates the one-sided-boob effect.

At least 35 soldiers have been stricken with the condition, called one-sided gynecomastia, which has prompted German military officials to consider changing the way in which the battalion performs drills.

Sooo small breast women..you lnow what to do now to grow boobs.
