Sustainable transportation to be discussed at Sierra Club meeting

Bob Munger, the founder and president of the Augusta Greenway Alliance, will offer a free program titled “Sustainable Transportation in Augusta” during the Sierra Club’s monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The alliance is devoted to smart growth and sustainable transportation programs and policies. Munger will discuss strategies for making Augusta a model city for sustainable transportation.

The meeting will be held at Unitarian Universalist Church meeting room, 3501 Walton Way Extension. Visitors are welcome.
