AAA and Bud Light are again offering free tows and rides home this holiday.

AAA’s Tow to Go service has been offering inebriated drivers an alternative to getting behind the wheel for more than 14 years. In 1998, Anheuser-Busch Wholesalers joined as co-sponsors. The wholesalers group has also worked with bars and restaurants to educate servers on the importance of not letting customers overimbibe.

Since 1998, Tow to Go has removed more than 20,000 drivers from the roads, according to a news release.

This year the service will be available to intoxicated drivers from Friday through Jan. 1.

Through the service, drivers in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee get a confidential ride and tow to a safe location within a 10-mile radius.

Georgia drivers can call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
