Goodwill Industries are seeking donations of more bicycles to be refurbished for impoverished children for Christmas.
Through Goodwill’s WORKing Solutions that serves homeless individuals, six trainees are gaining job skills and earning a paycheck refurbishing the bikes, which are then given to children who are selected to receive them through an application process. Many children who receive the bikes are enrolled in Goodwill’s programs.
Bikes can be dropped off at 6 p.m. today at Master Buick on Washington Road.
