Part of Wrightsboro Road closed for tree removal

A portion of Wrightsboro Road will be closed Wednesday to allow workers to remove a tree, according to a news release from Augusta’s Engineering Department.

The 2300 block of Wrightsboro Road between Schley and Stovall streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the release said. Drivers are advised to use Central Avenue to avoid the work area.
