Smoke may be visible in the area today while Fort Gordon conducts a prescribed burn of 200 acres.

The burn will affect training areas 21, 22 and 23.

My bronchitis appreciates the headsup.

And local doctors parking lots will be over flowing. The EPA give them a pass on "second hand smoke kills". Burning cellulose plant fibers vs. burning cellulose plants fibers. Unfiltered.

Another occasion for Mr. P to do some unannounced burning on the Savannah River. Smoke is smoke. The ducks need to be able to see the landing field.
