• 2 p.m. Miss Augusta Christmas Fantasy Parade

• 4 p.m. family fun, Augusta Common

• 5:55 p.m. Mayor Deke Copenhaver throws the switch lighting up downtown 5:55 p.m.

• 6:30 p.m. Lighted Boat Parade, Savannah River at Jessye Norman Amphtheater

Another year has come and gone.

We still have RR tracks impeding traffic. The river flow is down. Corrupt politicians continue to rule. Asphalt and concrete are still the most profitable industries. Beside politics and garbage collection. We failed to Save Our A____ once again.

But in April we were a garden, in June we were Gay and in December we will be Merry. We will strut our stuff and shake our booty with pelvic tilts down the Rue Le Broade to the tune of " I hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring, ring ring a ling too.......". Past the Pink Eye Full Tower, Le Monument to the Second American Revolution and Le Cathedral St Paul.
We will learn to recite "We Surrender" in seven languages.
