2 North Augusta homes damaged in fire

Two homes were damaged in a Saturday morning fire in North Augusta.

North Augusta Public Safety was called to the 600 block of Buena Vista Avenue around 10 a.m., authorities said.

No one was hurt. Authorities are investigating what started the fire.

Baseball games going on at Lions Field were not interrupted.

someone was in a hurry when they wrote that - may want to correct it -interrupted - interpreted does not make any sense.

So sad that homes were damaged and I hope the people affected will be able to get help and get their homes repaired quickly.

If the map is correct, Lion's Field is a LONG way from the fire site. The other end of Buena Vista as a matter of fact. (that is, if the map marker is accurate).
