The 12th Annual Fleur-de-Lis Formal, presented by the Boy Scouts of America, will be held Friday in the River Room of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

The evening will begin with a welcome reception and silent auction, which starts at 6:30 p.m. Appetizers and a full service bar will be available while guests view and bid on a wide variety of items.

A three-course dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m., followed by a live auction at 8:15 p.m. This year’s keynote speaker will be Medal of Honor recipient, Marine Col. Harvey C. “Barney” Barnum Jr.

The award is bestowed for valor in action against an enemy force. There are 54 living recipients who performed such acts in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, according to a news release by the Georgia-Carolina Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Tickets to the event are $150 per individual, $225 per couple, $400 for a half table of four, or $800 for a table of eight. Corporate tables of 10 are available for $1,000. Proceeds benefit the Georgia-Carolina Council of the Boy Scouts.
