Aiken Sheriff's Office offers trick-or-treat alternative

Trick-or-treaters can visit the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office for sweets on Halloween.

The treats, which have been donated by businesses and members of the community, will be handed out at the sheriff’s office, 420 Hampton Ave., from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies also will hand out bags of treats during patrols from 6-9 p.m.
