A section of S.C. Highway 125 through Savannah River Site will be closed for about six hours Saturday to allow heavy equipment and other vehicles to provide support in removing a section of steam line near mile marker 8.

The closure will affect both north and soundbound traffic and an alternate route on SRS property west of S.C. 125 will be provided. A pilot car will lead groups of detoured traffic.

All SRS employees requiring access to D Area, TNX Area, SRS boat ramp or the SRS pump houses on the day of the scheduled work are asked to use the D Area North Bypass road, located north of Road 3.
