Delays are expected on northbound Deans Bridge Road the next couple of weeks as the Department of Transportation works to widen Bobby Jones Expressway.

The outside lane near the Bobby Jones Expressway overpass will be closed Monday through Oct. 8, according to a news release.

The Bobby Jones Expressway east exit ramp to Deans Bridge Road will also be closed during this time.

The closures are part of the $29.8 million project widening and reconstructing 4.7 miles of Bobby Jones Expressway from Deans Bridge Road to Gordon Highway.
