PATRIOT DAY REMEMBRANCE AND REFLECTION CEREMONY: 8:30 a.m., Evans Towne Center Park flagpole, 7016 Evans Towne Center Blvd.; includes special comments, presentation of U.S. flag, Last Call for FDNY, ringing of the bell, moment of silence and closing prayer

FORT GORDON SEPT. 11 REMEMBRANCE: Two minutes of silence; 8:30 a.m.: emergency vehicles at key intersections and all gates; 8:45 a.m.: Department of Emergency Services director gives 1-minute oral warning for execution; 8:46 a.m.: Sirens sound, marking the first strike on the World Trade Center; colors lowered to half-staff; 8:47 a.m.: Sirens end, playing of taps; moment of silence; flag remains at half-staff until retreat at 5 p.m.; ceremony at Signal Towers flagpole; two firefighters and two military police officers will be part of the color guard; 9:03, 9:37 and 10:03 a.m.: Honor guard will fire a cannon shot to signify the crash of Flight 175 into World Trade Center Tower 2, Flight 77 into the Pentagon and Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pa.
