Augusta Utilities Department will conduct flow tests at some of its fire hydrants Tuesday, possibly causing the release of discolored water that officials say is no cause for alarm.

According to a public notice issued by the department, the tests are planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday along R.A. Dent Street between Walton Way and the 15th Street overpass.
