The Kroc Center’s pool is closed because of a mechanical breakdown, the Salvation Army said in an e-mail Sunday.

The Aquatic Center, at 1833 Broad St., will be closed until further notice. The e-mail said a service call has been placed.

The Kroc Center, which opened last August, has enrolled more than 7,500 people in its first year.
