Authorities seeking help in finding missing woman

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a missing Augusta woman.

Police say that Djibrine Tieshia Hutchins, a 34-year-old black woman, left her home on Wheeler Road Sunday at 1 p.m. and has not been seen or heard from since.

Hutchins, also known as Kimberly James, is described as five feet tall, weighing 180 pounds.

The report also says Hutchins is known to frequent drug areas and suffers from schizophrenic and mild mental challenges. She has been in Augusta for a month and is originally from Alabama.

Anyone that has seen Hutchins or knows her whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080. All information will be handled confidentially.
