A man who was lit on fire at a bar Friday has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center.

Investigators said William Bonner Jr., 36, was at Alley Katz off of Washington Road around 1:30 a.m. Friday when he bet his friends to light his head on fire.

Video surveillance from the bar shows two men approach Bonner, throw a shot of alcohol on his head and light it.

Bonner was transported to the burn center at Doctors Hospital in critical condition.
