Red Cross honors SRS worker for volunteer services

A Savannah River Site employee was honored recently by the Augusta chapter of the American Red Cross as recipient of the Jack B. Patrick Award for Volunteer Services.

Pat Padezanin, a Red Cross board member for nine years, is also the chairwoman of the group’s Service Delivery Committee, which oversees disaster issues, aid for the armed forces, and matters involving health and safety.

She works for SRS contractor Savannah River Nuclear Solutions as its director of health, safety and medical services.
