Area McDonald’s restaurants are offering a chance to win a two-year lease on sporty new Lexus to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

A raffle will be held Aug. 17 at the Ronald McDonald House for a chance to win a two-year lease on a 2012 Lexus CT from Jim Hudson Lexus. The car is a hybrid and gets 42 miles to the gallon, said Betts Murdison, the executive director of Ronald McDonald House.

“It’s fun to drive. I’ve driven it,” she said.

It will be on display Saturday at McDonald’s near the Pizza Joint on Washington Road in Evans.

Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25 and can be purchased at the Evans McDonald’s on Saturday, at Jim Hudson Lexus, by calling the Ronald McDonald House at (706) 724-5901 or by visiting the Web site at rmhcaugusta.org.

The winner does not need to be present to win.

Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House, with a portion going toward the building of a new Ronald McDonald House.
