Adoption agency holds open house

The Bethany Christian Services adoption agency held an open house Tuesday for anyone seeking information about the agency's services.

The event showed off the new location and provided details about the agency’s services, including domestic infant adoption, international adoption, older-child adoption through the state of Georgia and pregnancy counseling.

Bethany Regional Adoption Specialist Tammy Hollingsworth and Cheryl Williams, a director with Bethany out of Atlanta, spoke with attendees.

The adoption agency opened as a satellite location for the Atlanta-based Bethany Christian Services of Georgia last summer. It recently moved into the old parsonage of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church off Lumpkin Road.
