SRNS family scholarship recipients announced

Fifteen local students will each receive a $3,000 Savannah River Nuclear Solutions Family Scholarship for children of the company’s employees.

The annual program rewards graduating high school students on the basis of general ability, leadership, and scholastic achievement, recognizing the top students in the competition.

This year’s winners are:

• Haley Barinowski, West­minster Schools of Augusta, daughter of Glenn Barin­owski

• James Brumbaugh, Ward­law Academy, son of Barb­ara Brumbaugh

• John Diprete, Green­brier High School, son of David and Cecelia Diprete

• Mark Griffith, North Augusta High School, son of James Griffith

• Jennifer Grimm, North Augusta High School, daughter of Freddie Grimm

• William Harris, North Augusta High School, son of William Harris

• Stephen Lint, Aquinas High School, son of John Lint

• Rachel Martini, Green­brier High School, daughter of Robert Martini

• Austin Pendergist, James Island Charter High School, son of Dennis Pen­dergist

• Matthew Ross, Aquinas High School, son of Jeffrey Ross

• Rebecca Rudisill, North Augusta High School, daughter of Tracy Rudisill

• Rachel Ward, North Augusta High School, daughter of Rebecca Ward

• David Westergreen, Augusta Christian High School, son of Jeffery Wester­green
