If JBA keeps bringing class acts to town people will attend. We thought the show was FANTASTIC. Well done!

I now live in ATL and went to

I now live in ATL and went to the Elton John concert last night, it was great, I haven't been in the arena in about 20 yrs and I couldn't believe how outdated and dark and dreary the arena is, Augusta deserves a new updated arena, the building is cold and dark and has no character. There is so much wasted space in the arena, I had never sat up high on the sides before and it looks like they originally built 4 walls and then dropped a concrete stadium inside. Augusta is much better than this, the city needs to build a new arena with revenue producing suites if it wants to continue drawing superstars and big events to Augusta. I was really embarrassed at how it appears that nothing has been done to keep this arena up to date, even the exterior of the building needs a paint job or complete makeover. Hopefully Augusta will step into the 21st century and quit squabbling and do the right thing. I'm sure if James Brown were still alive, he would not want his name attached to this sad looking building.
