Its actually only around 5 to

Its actually only around 5 to 6 feet in length. If you notice the extra coloration on his back, that is a sign that it's a juvenile. It will grow to be 10 to 14 feet and will move on to the river by the time it is mature. This guy was real placid and let me get relatively close, yet maintain a safe distance. I hope it doesn't get killed either.
