AZZIZ IS MERGING THE schools to increase the unemployment rate. It amazes me how faculty and upper management at GHSU get raises but the administration staff can’t even get a cost of living raise. I honestly believe Azziz wants the staff to quit or find a lower-paying job.
CAN’T BELIEVE THAT Roundtree can believe he is qualified morally and ethically to run for sheriff! Ronnie Strength, we NEED you to please stay and continue your good work.
YES, THE ASU-MCG merger is a terrible thing. We are separate places with different goals. I can see MCG siphoning off funding and cutting more from ASU under Azziz. We already have a great nursing program that places students in well over 90 percent of their graduated students into jobs. And there are folks who don’t need to be forced to have to consider MCG again for their health care when they ran away from it.
PRESIDENT OBAMA HAS no trouble criticizing wealthy people, yet President Obama has no trouble living such a wealthy type lifestyle on the taxpayer’s dime!
ACCORDING TO OUR LIBERAL media, you’re a bigot if you don’t approve of gay marriage. Previous battles for civil rights involved money; it is wrong to evaluate money according to the person who has it. With gay marriage it’s not money, it’s a rebuke of 3,000 years of Judeo-Christian family structure. Let them do civil unions.
A CITY OF THIS SIZE and magnitude needs a proper transit system running seven days a week all night and day. It would cut down on traffic accidents, insurance and the upkeep of the streets. I have never seen a city of this size without a daily transit system.
I WOULD LIKE TO thank the Emergency Room at Fort Gordon’s Eisenhower Army Medical Center for its care Saturday morning. Thanks to my doctor who came in and for the personnel on Ward 9 East. You were a blessing to us and we hope God blesses you. I also want to thank the lady who took care of my granddaughter while I was disabled. Thank you and God bless you.
IF MCG WANTS TO MERGE with a college, maybe it should be with Paine College because geographically they are across the street from each other.
