Body identified as pharmacy student

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has identified a body found floating offshore as a pharmacy student from Nigeria who was seen jumping from a local bridge earlier this month.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports that Oluwatosin Oyelowo jumped from the Ravenel Bridge on Dec. 9. That prompted a search of the Cooper River and connected waterways.

Her driver’s license and purse, were found at the top of the bridge.
