A Hephzibah mother wants a better Christmas for her children.
“I have not been able to put much aside this year,” she writes. “Any financial support I get is spent on necessary bills and rent. My children have not experienced a good Christmas in years. This year I would love to be able to go out and shop for each of them so they will feel appreciated and loved.”
The Augusta Chronicle Empty Stocking Fund has helped people such as this for 81 years. Last year, the charity raised more than $115,000 that helped children and families across the region.
