Reynolds Street parking deck opens Friday, fees vary

  • Follow Metro

A 650-space parking deck opens Friday at the corner of Reynolds and Ninth streets and will charge $1 an hour, with a maximum $5 ticket. The cost of parking will be reevaluated after 30 days.

The $12 million parking deck was paid for with a 3-cent local car rental tax and special-purpose local-option sales tax funds. It will serve visitors to the trade, exhibit and event center, which is being constructed across the street.
