'Graniteville' hits big screen

Filmmakers Bryan Williams and Denton Adkinson and Grady Yarborough introduced their film Graniteville: Past, Present, Future at the Imperial Theatre in Augusta.

The documentary, which had its premiere Saturday evening, looks at the history of the 170-year-old town.

More than 40 residents were interviewed for the film.

Will it be shown again

Will it be shown again locally? Wonder if it even mentions how many mill workers ended up with deadly Brown Lung and other health problems or how some mill owners fought unions and just locked the workers out and split?
