U.S. Rep. Paul C. Broun announced Monday that he will hold an open house at his Augusta/Evans District Office from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 13.

"Our open house is a great opportunity for the folks who are served by our Augusta/Evans office to come by and say 'hello,'" Broun said in a statement. "I look forward to meeting all those who come out as we discuss the accomplishments of 2010 and my goals for the 112th Congress."

The office is at 4246 Washington Road, Suite 6, Evans. Anyone who wants more information about the event is encouraged to call (706) 447-3857.

Oh, so everyone can take off

Oh, so everyone can take off work and go see him. Nice to see where your priorities are, Broun. How about after 6 when us poor working rubes can come see you and tell you what's really going on...

I'll come by to shake your

I'll come by to shake your hand and thank you for your opposition to the idiotic programs that the Democrats under the leadership of Chairman MaoBama have proposed! I also want to tell you that I disagree with you on the plans for the new Interstate from Savannah into TN.....The area NEEDS this highway. I-26 through NC is a beautiful drive that has preserved the environment and made travel so much easier. Georgia NEEDS this road.
