The Easter Seals' annual Christmas ornament fundraiser this year will feature the News Building, home of The Augusta Chronicle.

The $15 purchase price helps Easter Seals East Georgia provide services to people with disabilities in 33 counties.

Past ornaments have included Augusta State University's Arsenal Guardhouse, Church of the Good Shepherd, the Woodrow Wilson House, St. Paul's Church, the Old Government House and Sacred Heart.

Since 1993, the Official Augusta Ornament of Hope has been a joint effort of Easter Seals East Georgia and Century 21/Larry Miller Realty.

Easter Seals East Georgia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to "assist people with disabilities and other special needs to maximize their potential for employment and independence and to broaden their opportunities for full inclusion into society."
