Bravo Company to get deployment ceremony

A deployment ceremonyfor the Bravo Company of the 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Gym No. 3 on Brainard Avenue, Fort Gordon.

More than 120 soldiers will be deployed to support the 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment and troop draw-down in Iraq.

This will be the fourth Middle East deployment for soldiers from the battalion or segments of the unit. The U.S. will end its combat mission in Iraq on Aug. 31. The number of U.S. troops is projected to be reduced to 50,000 by month's end.
