Killed: January 8, 2004 when the UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter he was riding in crashed near Fallujuah, Iraq. Witnesses reported seeing projectiles strike the helicopter, which was on a MEDEVAC mission before it crashed.

Family: Parents, Felix and Phyllis; sisters, Tiffiney, NaTasha, Rita; brother, David.

Medals and badges: Bronze Star Medal; Purple Heart; Army Commendation Medal; Parachutist Badge.

Johnson graduated from Glenn Hills High School in 2001.

He was assigned to Company D (Aviation), 82nd Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division based in Fort Bragg, N.C.
