Students face tribunal after sex act on bus
Two Richmond County students have gone before a school system tribunal after authorities say they had oral sex while on a school bus on the campus of Josey High.
School system reports released this week for tribunals held Feb. 26 stated that on Feb. 9, a Davidson Fine Arts School student performed oral sex on a Josey High student while they were on the bus. The students' names weren't listed, but the report stated that both admitted being guilty to a violation of Rule 8 in the Code of Student Conduct and Discipline, which addresses illicit or immoral activities by a student.
The Davidson student was assigned to her zoned school and "the panel showed leniency" to her because she reported the incidents and took responsibility for her actions, according to the report.
The Josey student was suspended 20 days, with the option to attend the Tubman Education Center Alternative Program in lieu of long-term suspension. The tribunal panel stated it also showed leniency to him "due to his past record and him taking responsibility for his actions."

Authorities seek man suspected in pill theft
Deputies say a man stole prescription pills from a woman he knew, then tried to sell them back to her.
The victim told investigators Wednesday that her 8-year-old daughter invited the suspect into her home on the 2700 block of Elk Drive while she was sleeping.
The suspect, William Pressley, woke up the victim and tried to sell her some white pills, but she refused, a report states.
When Pressley left the victim noticed her prescription painkillers were missing so she tracked him down at a house on the 4200 block of Windsor Spring Road.
She called authorities when she noticed Pressley also had her cell phone, a report states. When deputies searched Pressley's pockets, he slid out of his jacket and ran, leaving behind a prescription pill bottle holding crack, marijuana and sundry pills, according to a report.
Deputies are still searching for Pressley.
threaten a teacher suspended five days, punch a teacher in the stomach causing her to lose her unborn babay get assigned to knucklehean...oops i mean the alternative school for richmond cnty schools that sounds fair....par for the course
You're a young 23 year old female, two men walk up and asked about a hotel, you offer them a ride and when they get into your car they threaten you.........DO PEOPLE HAVE BRAINS ANYMORE!!!
she was not kidnapped.I guess she didn't learn. You do not give a ride to strangers.
Its Friday and gurantee somebody else is going to pickup a stranger and get robbed. You'll see it in the paper tomorrow.
ICL, she gave them $500 and they stole it from her and didn't give her the drugs. That's a lot more plausible than the cockamamie story that she is telling.
