THIS IS A RANT TO THOSE who are ranting about the medical college moving. You're stupid. It's not moving. They are opening a satellite in Athens. To all you Bush bashers, we haven't been attacked since 9-11. Enough said!
RAVES TO SOMEONE named Jessica in a silver Bronco. I'm an older lady and was on Walton Way by mistake. She led me over to where I was supposed to be on Laney-Walker. If it wasn't for her, I would still be trying to find my way. God bless you, Jessica.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY you are supporting Jimmy Carter. All you have to do is look at the unemployment rate. Does anybody remember the double-digit mortgages? My goodness!
THIS IS ABOUT BOB SMITH. Why can't he wear anything besides his blue shirt? He looked so nice during the Masters wearing different colors.
WHY CAN'T THE PEOPLE of Richmond County elect a superintendent? Why should it be a choice of a few? We feel, as citizens and taxpayers, that should be our privilege to help select this position. This is so that the circus that happened prior to this will not happen again.
WHEN DID THE REPORTERS start making the news instead of reporting the news? It should be reported, not made by the media. News 12 should be ashamed of themselves the way they covered what happened at the Riverwalk. Maybe that guard was wrong, but it's not your place to be the police. You are supposed to cover it after the fact. And for the record, she was not swinging at the reporter but moving the microphone out of her face. He was assaulting her, and that is the bottom line.
THIS IS A RANT AGAINST all the people that are being carjacked around Augusta. When you get out of your car, put your keys in your pocket if you are pumping gas, washing the windshield or leaving your car for whatever reason. If it's in your pocket, you can press the security button to scare people away. Men, women and young people, do not leave your keys in your car for any reason.
