IF I WERE to go into the emergency room with a bullet in me, shot or something, and have no insurance, I could get help. But I'm a 51-year-old woman with no insurance and presently unemployed with gallbladder disease. And I can't get anything done. No one will help me. No doctor will perform my surgery because I have no insurance. In the meantime, I have gallstones in my gallbladder and I'm ill and can't do anything. I wonder if I need a bullet in me or to be incarcerated to get medical help. All these years I worked and paid into the system.
SINCE MY DOCTOR retired from practice, I've not been able to locate one I'm satisfied with. The first one I went to was harassing me - not sexually, no, but just literally harassing me - and was obnoxious and enough to make a preacher cuss. Now he's relocating and I say good riddance to bad rubbish.
NOW THAT THEY'VE made English the national language, are you going to teach it here? I don't know about you but I don't think "y'all" is in the dictionary as an English word. So people here need to learn how to speak English, too.
SOMETHING HAS TO be done about the drivers in Augusta. Going down Peach Orchard Road, a car came out - I was going north - and crossed straight through the median. No signal. Nothing. Right in front of me ... . It's by the grace of God I got home.
I HAVE A RANT. I rented my house to a Section 8 family, and when I went back to check on the house it was destroyed. I had to repair the house before I could sell it. My advice: Do not rent to Section 8 people. They will destroy your property and the neighborhood.
