Bike rodeo, asthma screening set in Augusta for Saturday

Children in need of a bike or bike safety help or those concerned about asthma can go to events Saturday.

Amerigroup Community Care of Georgia, Action Ministries Augusta and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office will play host to a Bike Rodeo from 9 a.m. to noon at Action Ministries, 303 Hale St. Action Ministries will provide some free bicycles and free health screenings, refreshments and a bicycle course.

Children’s Hospital of Georgia will provide free asthma screening and education from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Kohl’s, 4227 Washington Road in Evans.
