Richmond County Health Department to hold teen pregnancy prevention event Tuesday

An event Tuesday night at the Richmond County Health Department aims to prevent teen pregnancy by helping parents and teens talk about the issue.

The free event from 5 to 7 p.m. will include separate sessions for teens and parents and will also seek to connect teens with reproductive health services. The event is sponsored by the health department, at 950 Laney-Walker Blvd., and the Richmond County Youth Leadership Council of the We Are Change Initiative.
