Why are you running for office?:  "I want to bring transparency to county government. I want to work with other commissioners to make sure that all the citizens’ needs are being met. I want to come up with an effective plan to eliminate the dilapidated houses and implement a plan that will stop the flooding in District 1 and District 2."

Why are you running for office?: "I feel like the needs of my community and District 1 at large haven’t been met to my satisfaction."

Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy; Georgia Health Sciences University, master’s in health education

Why are you running for District 1?: “After being very involved in my neighborhood, community and church, starting a community garden, serving as president of our neighborhood association and initiating a neighborhood newsletter -- through all of those things I was so engaged with my neighbors, learning about their concerns for the city. Why not take it to the next level and have more impact, not on just my own neighborhood but for the whole city?”
