Why are you running for re-election? “I am running for re-election for the same reason this year as the first time: There’s too much gridlock in Washington. I’m one of the few members with the ability and record to reach across the aisle to accomplish things not just for the entire country, but for the 12th District.”

Name: Lee Anderson

Age: 55

Family: Wife, Donna; son, Ben; daughter, Katie

Political experience: Columbia County Board of Education, 1985-1993; Columbia County Commission, 2004-2009; Georgia House, 2008-present

Education: Abraham Baldwin College, Brewton Parker College

Why are you running for office? “I am running for Congress because it’s time to balance the budget and get America growing again. Under the failed leadership of Barack Obama and John Barrow, our country has gotten off track and we need a common-sense farmer and businessman in Washington who will put an end to the reckless spending, borrowing and debt in Congress. As your Congressman, I will fight tooth and nail to protect our seniors and veterans from the devastating Medicare cuts mandated by Obamacare and will work to lower taxes for our hard-working families and local business owners.”

Why no photo of Anderson, and

Why no photo of Anderson, and no listing of degrees he earned at ABAC and Brewton Parker?
