Isakson's level of safety depends on perspective

As Washington incumbents across the country quake before voter insurrections, Republican U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson is sitting pretty -- if you believe the pundits and the polls.

Spoiler alert: Democrat Michael Thurmond and Libertarian Chuck Donovan, who are after that Senate seat, say they don't.

Isakson isn't taking anything for granted. One thing he agrees on with his challengers: Polls don't count; voters do.

"There's only one poll that matters," Isakson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "and it's on Nov. 2."

Unfortunately we keep sending

Unfortunately we keep sending the same old tired crowd to the US Senate. Did it under Bush and we'll do it again under Obama. Doing the same old thing and expecting a different result.

The president is not responsible for everything, whether it's Clinton, Bush or Obama. The US Senate is a large part of what's wrong with America. And the crowd that got us into this mess is not going to be the Moses that leads us out of it.

Most important thing this

Most important thing this November is putting the brakes on dumbobama. Isakson is one that will help do that. Then we can begin work in ousting him in 2012 and stop the socialist agenda.

One thing for sure, sending

One thing for sure, sending another Democrat to Washington will only help Obama and his unelected and uncomfirmed czars continue to work to cripple the Government. It is no accident that we learned there were people in his Administration and inner circle who held views hostile to capitalism and America.

Washington will be surprised that voters have wised up and switched from favoring a Democrat to a Republican.

They were in control of both Houses of Congress and the Presidency but still blame the Republicans on why more Change has been enacted. The Speaker of the House who argued that they needed to pass the Health Care Bill so that they could learn what is in the Bill. They needed to pass the Health Care Bill right away because people were dying. Yet it was only the funding part (from our pockets) that was going to be put in place right away. The actual benefits wouldn't be fully in place until 2012.
They complain about the US Chamber of Commerce funding conservatives although we learn that they actually gave more to the Dems. But the Dems say nothing about the George Soros and those on the Left pouring his millions into campaign ads which are 100% against Republicans.
We need CHANGE and I HOPE we get it this time.
