Yea right for a state that did not vote for him who cares let Ga get what it deserves Backward they will never like him or anyone who looks like him.
ATLANTA -- A poll released this afternoon shows that President Barack Obama is a huge liability for former Gov. Roy Barnes as the Democrat tries to regain the post he lost nearly eight years ago.
The survey was conducted by InsiderAdvantage for WSB-TV of Atlanta. Some 718 registered, likely voters were asked if they would base their vote for governor on whether they believed Obama and the national Democratic Party were doing a fair or a poor job.
Sixty-seven percent said "yes" while 24 percent said "no."
Given that 64 percent of Georgians disapprove of Obama's job performance while just 35 percent approve, that's a big problem for Barnes, said InsiderAdvantage CEO and WSB TV political analyst Matt Towery.
"This has nothing to do with Roy Barnes and nothing to do with the Democratic Party of Georgia. It is a national problem that is seeping down and infecting the Democratic Party in the state of Georgia," he said.
"These numbers are in line with what we're seeing all over the country and what we're seeing nationwide, and it's not good news. The Democrats are going to have to find a way to really separate themselves from Barack Obama and the Congress," Towery said.
He added: "The Barnes strategy has to be, 'I'm really a Republican.' If he doesn't do that, given the fact that the number of independents are dropping, he can't win."

Can't help but think about how the liberals were all over how Bush was kept away from GOP candidates in 2006. They were laughing it up, weren't they? And now? Conservatives aren't rolling in the floor laughing over this. we're just saying, oh well, there you go. no surprise to us. is it to you?
Georgians need to show Obama a little more respect. His stimulus money has kept the state afloat. we get way more federal money than what we send in. Georgia my friends is a welfare state. If you don't believe me do some research.
Obama...respect???
LMAO...yea right.
You have to give it to get it!!!!!!!
Huckle, I am not sure about the rest of the budget, but that's not true for education. We get 9 percent from Feds, and it takes 20 percent of our budget to get that 9 from unfunded mandates, like NCLB and the horrid "race to the top."

Where are the beneficiaries of all these funds? Any ideas or is this a guess?
Old Roy Barnes is trying to hide from Hussein, most are, but he can’t.
you know, we could have a governor who doesn't look like a zombie, or like a used car DEALer. www.votemonds.com
Omnom, I ate dinner with his campaign chair last night, they are making huge strides!
good to hear Taylor...
Barnes will stay so far away from O....you will wonder if he even voted for him...wait & see.
People are not voting for Obama. Barnes will win this election. Not enough Naysayers to help his opponent. If Barnes come out with the " I am really an Republican, he can kiss his chances good -bye.
