In-person advance voting for the July 31 general primary and nonpartisan election continues through July 27 at the Richmond County Board of Elections’ main office, 530 Greene St., Room 104, and Advance Voting Week is Monday through July 27 at the main office, Henry Brigham Recreation Center and Warren Road Recreation Center.

Saturday voting hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekday hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Early voting by mail for any reason continues through July 27, and voters can request one of the three ballots – Republican, Democratic or nonpartisan – by mail or fax from the elections office.

All three ballots include a referendum on the new 1 percent sales tax for transportation. If an Aug. 21 runoff becomes necessary, voters cannot switch parties between the July 31 election and the runoff.
