Newt Gingrich coming to Bobby's Bar-B-Q on Wednesday

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bobby’s Bar-B-Q.

Gingrich will visit for a town hall meeting at the restaurant, 1897 Jefferson Davis Highway, Warrenville, according to Jason Goings, the Aiken County chairman for Newt 2012. Gingrich’s campaign Web site,, also lists the event.

A Republican candidate forum, with confirmed appearances by Gingrich and Ron Paul, is scheduled for 7 tonight at the USC Aiken Convocation Center. Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum is featured speaker today at an Aiken Republican Club’s luncheon at Newberry Hall.
