This has to be a HUGE worry for Dems in GA this year.
ATLANTA --- President Obama is a liability for former Gov. Roy Barnes, according to a poll released Wednesday.
The survey was conducted by InsiderAdvantage for WSB-TV of Atlanta.
Some 718 registered, likely voters were asked if they would base their vote for governor on whether they believed Obama and the national Democratic Party were doing a fair or a poor job.
Sixty-seven percent said "yes" while 24 percent said "no."
Given that 64 percent of Georgians disapprove of Obama's job performance while just 35 percent approve, that's a big problem for Barnes, said InsiderAdvantage CEO and WSB TV political analyst Matt Towery.
"This has nothing to do with Roy Barnes and nothing to do with the Democratic Party of Georgia. It is a national problem that is seeping down and infecting the Democratic Party in the state of Georgia," he said.
"These numbers are in line with what we're seeing all over the country and what we're seeing nationwide, and it's not good news. The Democrats are going to have to find a way to really separate themselves from Barack Obama and the Congress," Towery said.
"The Barnes strategy has to be, 'I'm really a Republican.' If he doesn't do that, given the fact that the number of independents are dropping, he can't win."

As if this really matters once again GA did not vote for him and for those Dem that do that they will lose anyway.Dems should stay in the car and don't put to much in the polls who can say, these people are mad at the fact their man lost and this is get back at Obama no truth to it the man is doing a good job base on what he has to work with. Now will they see that as the facts no so who cares keep on doing what you do Obama. Most of the whinners got to keep their jobs and homes because of Obama, you will not make these people happy no way it's just in them.
Worry about what it changes all the time no one is going to lose sleep if the Reps win they still have to run a goverment for the people and that's all the people.

I hope it also seeps down and infects the Democratic Party in the state of Nevada.
And while we are at it....let's not forget Barnes' link to his old pal and buddy, Federal Prisoner Charles Walker. In Barnes' latest cartoon commerical, he questions Deal's ethics. What a laugh....coming from him.
If Roy Barnes thinks Georgians have forgotten his last hitch in Atlanta, he has another think coming. My vote will go to his opposition; we don't need this crumb back in office. If Barnes believes the big O is a liability, Barnes needs to recognize that he is his own biggest liability.
This is totally hilarious.
I don't think the President wants to be associated with someone that is worse than he is.
hey! he has the same liability as the rest of us.
iakovos, "Most of the whinners got to keep their jobs and homes because of Obama, you will not make these people happy no way it's just in them."
The people voicing care, and concern for this country (you call it whining) rather than have dumbobama destroy it with his socialist agenda, haven't kept their jobs or homes because of dumbobama. It is the people that should not have been in those homes from the beginning. It comes from Freddie and Fannie programs that created this housing debacle. The government stepped in and forced lending institutions to give loans to those that could not afford them. Lack of financial discipline is what has caused people to lose their homes. Probably very few Republicans lost their homes. And the reason for the loss of jobs is also the result of your socialist leader. He has caused more job losses in less than two years than he can "CREATE" during the remainder of his socialist rule.
