ATLANTA - Karen Handel is calling in a closer.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will sweep into Georgia to headline a rally for the Republican gubernatorial hopeful today, the eve of the runoff election between Handel and former U.S. Rep. Nathan Deal.

Handel and Deal are battling for the GOP nomination for governor and the right to face Democrat Roy Barnes in November.

Palin's endorsement of Handel is widely credited with helping boost the former secretary of state to a first place finish in the Georgia's July 20 primary. The former vice presidential candidate's appearance in the state is designed to whip up enthusiasm among Handel supporters and get them back to the polls.

Deal is set to barnstorm the state on Monday, hitting seven cities from Gainesville to Albany.

Who are you going to vote for

Who are you going to vote for a Honest Woman, Karen Handel or a Corrupt Washington Politician, Nathan Deal? Look at the lies Deal tells how can we trust him with the future of our state.

Calling one person honest and

Calling one person honest and another corrupt doesn't make it so! A little evidence to support your claims might help all of us who don't know as much as you claim.

Two good candidates with

Two good candidates with strong conservative records. I don't think there's a bad governor in this race ... on this side of the isle.

I wonder how much Handel had

I wonder how much Handel had to pay little Sarah for showing up? Is paid appearance the same as endorsement? Funny but the AC and other news services never disclose how much candidates are paying for these endorsements. Surely she will have the "special needs" kid in tow. After all he does need continual special attention by his mama, but then again whats more important, kid or politics?

Amazing how she can

Amazing how she can supposedly get others elected but she can't finish her own term. It is sickening how these uneducated clowns run to her. She is just saying people want to hear and laughing all the way to the bank. She has never stated what her ideas are she just sit backs and attacks the president. Even the real republicans realize that she isn't presidential material. She is the "rock star" they made Obama out to be. You bet your bottom dollar this endorsement wasn't free. I am no Obama lover but you people actually think she can beat him in an election you are kidding yourself. She can't even run her own household.

I agree that Palin shouldn't

I agree that Palin shouldn't be much help, BUT to address the issues of whether Deal is a conservative or honest, I must offer this -

Fiscal Conservatism?? - Deal voted for nearly every spending bill until Obama became President, voting for nearly all of the $8 trillion run up in debt of the USA during his tenure.........True Republican?? no he is a party switcher who wanted to stay in the Majority......Social Conservative???? No, he voted $millions for planned parenthood....Financial Responsibility????? Voted to repeal Glass Stegall and to exempt Wall Street banks from Gambling laws, allowing looting of the nation's finances.......Independence of states???? No, Deal voted for No Child Left Behind......Sanctity of Marriage??? - No, Deal supporters Gingrich, floozy hoppers in Gen Assembly, and womanizing local Deal supporters are a huge threat to marriage......Curtailing Social Programs???? No, voted for Medicare D, an $18 trillion unfunded liability.
THERE IS ONLY ONE CONSERVATIVE IN THIS RACE AND SHE WEARS BLACK.
