Former Augusta Commission member and current state Board of Transportation member Don Grantham will speak at the monthly meeting of Pride and Progress of Richmond County, according to a news release.
The nonprofit community group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Room 201 of University Medical Center South, 3121 Peach Orchard Road.
Grantham will discuss plans for road construction in the area.
The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
What happened to the extra funding those districts that approved TSPLOST were supposed to receive from the state?
The 3/4 of the state that did not fall for this ruse are still trying to figure out how to screw us out of that extra money. And my guess is that they eventually will find a way.
I'd like Grantham to address the issue of whether the extra funding will be provided as promised BEFORE the vote.
