U.S. Rep. John Barrow announced Thursday his assignment to four House of Representative subcommittees in the 113th Congress.

Barrow, a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, said he will be assigned to the subcommittees on Health; Energy and Power; Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade; and Environment and the Economy, according to a news release.

“Each of my subcommittee assignments directly impacts the folks in the 12th District,” Barrow said.

“I’m excited to continue work on the Energy and Commerce Committee, and I look forward to working with the communities in Georgia in each of these issue areas.”
