  • Follow Government

An updated master plan for Riverview and Northview parks was revealed during North Augusta City Council's study session Monday night.

Construction is expected to begin next spring in Riverview Park, including increased parking, an additional field, new scorer's towers and aesthetic improvements.

The plan also includes room for three more tennis courts and a tennis pavilion.

Plans for Northview Park, with an entrance off Five Notch Road, involve five ball fields, three tennis courts, a disc golf course, mountain bike trails and shelters.

Each park is expected to have a sprayground , said Bob Brooks, the director of North Augusta Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services.
